Target Shooting at the Pit

I joined up with a good friend of mine, Donny Adair.  It was a day to practice with my firearms.  Donny is the founder of African-American Hunting Association.  We spent the day at the English Pit Shooting Range.  I used a variety of firearms and practiced with a 9mm, a Browning Buckmark Pistol, a Ruger Mini-14 with a ATK stock, a Smith & Wesson M&P 22 and a Ruger 22/45 Lite.  Here are some picture of my day.

My daughter and a couple of friends, pictured below, also joined in on the firearms refresher. My daughter was the novice of the group and she really performed well.  I’m very proud of her.

My friend, Glenda, WOW! very impressive. She truly has a bulls-eye with that Smith and Wesson in her hands.  Great job! my friend.

I thought I’d try out the Ruger Mini-14 with ATK stock.

I have video of the day, BUT, I am now finding out that I can’t use my older camcorder with my new computer. Uhhhhh, there is always something.  I will figure it out and post the video as soon as I can.

If you are an owner of a firearm, it is very important that you practice with it as much as possible until it become second nature.  Practice, practice, practice! So, head to the nearest range and pop off some caps in those targets. As a reminder, I am not a firearms instructor. I practice for hunting and my personal safety.

Be Safe!
