I met with Chauncy Glover, an Anchor/Reporter from ABC 13 Houston came to visit me here in Oregon. He wanted to learn how to survive in the wild. Unfortunately for him, we were expecting a winter storm. He was facing sideways rain, wind, snow, hail in 31 degree weather. The day began with teaching him survival skills. His assignment was to start a fire in really, really bad conditions. He realized that starting a fire is not easy to do under those circumstances. Four hours later, he had fire. On top of all of that, the coyotes were howling about 100 feet away from camp. It was a brutal, sleepless night for Chauncy Glover.

Enjoy!
